Japanese Gulch is a fantastic outdoor haven away from the city. You can explore different loops until you find the perfect one for a short or extended run amidst the park's lush green forest, which provides a beautiful natural backdrop. The west side has a lengthy and winding trail around the plateau's top, and the east side is mainly composed of climbing trails, with some great inclines available in different areas. The area is also a popular spot for mountain biking, so be aware of others passing by.

Japanese Gulch is a fantastic mountain biking playground where you can ride the trails in different loops until you find the perfect one that suits you. The park's lush green forest provides a beautiful natural backdrop for an incredible day of riding.

The trail is very steep and power-hikey up until this point, where it mostly levels out until you reach Big Greider Lake. Little Greider Lake is a great spot for camping, and the views are dramatic as the trail skirts between the two peaks. There is a camp along the lake.

Bridal Veil Falls is a beautiful waterfall that roars down a 100-foot rock face, sliding off of granite slabs and tumbling onto the rocks and Bridal Veil Creek down below. There are stairs running along the side that lead up to a small spectating spot. You may want a jacket on windy days as there is quite a lot of mist that can blow over.

You will likely want microspikes in early spring to make it to the lake. The views are stunning, and in summer you can jump in to cool off.

Lunch Rock is a huge slab of granite that gently slopes into Lake Serene from the shore. Its a great place to take photos, admire the view, and as the name indicates, eat lunch!

The furthest uphill in the series of three waterfalls, this waterfall has a drop of about 259 feet. Just north of the waterfall you can get to a clearing with great views of the surrounding mountains.

Gunn Peak is the highest point of Wild Sky Wilderness, with a summit elevation of 6240'. The mountain is also the 29th-most prominent peak in Washington. The mountain is fairly isolated, with the next highest peak being located over 10 miles away. The summit offers a complete 360 degree panoramic view. This trail does have a good bit of scrambling through boulder fields and a small catwalk prior to the summit. Good shoes and a downloaded route are recommended. This route is suitable to very experienced hikers and should only be take up by people who have done similar summits.
