Half Moon Arch is a somewhat hidden, overlooked arch in Red River Gorge, but its a great place to stop and visit, especially if you're planning on visiting the nearby Chimney Top Rock. Although it's only a short distance to the arch, please use caution when hiking; there are exposed rocky ledges and big drops as you approach the arch so use good judgment and don't be afraid to slide on your butt!

Chimney Top Rock stands at the end of an easy trail. This open summit and overlook stands 400 feet above the Red River and offers stunning views of the entire gorge and its valleys, sheer cliffs, and ravines.

The Rock Bridge is just off the Rock Bridge Trail, a family-friendly loop in Red River Gorge. The Rock Bridge is an amazing sandstone arch over a peaceful stream and a must-visit in the area. Creation Falls, a beautiful waterfall, is just a short distance from the Rock Bridge, so be sure to check them out as well on your hike.

Creation Falls is a beautiful, wide waterfall with a large pool below. These falls are easily accessible on a mostly flat trail, making them the perfect destination for people of all ages and abilities levels. This is a great spot to link with the Rock Bridge, which is just a short distance up the stream.

A perfect viewpoint for taking in the surrounding Red River Gorge geological area, especially when the leaves are in full fall color. Hanson's Point lies in the Cumberland Region of Daniel Boone National Forest, and Hanson's Point trail offers prime birdwatching and mushroom hunting at the right times of year.
