It rises to a height of 1,365 meters above sea level and is surrounded by an extensive plain of volcanic origin known as the Campo de Volcanes de la Hoya de Huesca. The Cancarix Volcanic Python has a crater about 500 meters in diameter and 150 meters deep.

Abandoned sulfur mines that give their name to the nearby nucleus (Las Minas), are located in the Yesares de Hellín Microreserve.

Nice fountain dating from the 17th century with tiles with motifs of Don Quixote de la Mancha. The residents of the town and visitors do not pass through it without drinking and cooling off. The water is not chlorinated.
