Starting point of the mountain bike route in Liessel. This varied route of approximately 17.8 kilometers takes you through beautiful forests and nature reserves with a mix of singletracks, turns, and fast sections. The route is 2.2 kilometers long. It is marked with wooden posts with the international MTB sign in green (triangle with 2 circles underneath). The route runs through the part of the Dennendijkse Bossen that lies north of the A67. The forest is planted on sand drifts and heath areas that formed the northernmost part of the former “Groote-Heide von Asten”. The Dennendijkse Forest is a young forest area with some open areas, the so-called bleaching areas. Bleachers were common places where linen was bleached.

A very nice MTB route that you can also ride at a faster pace. Everything was cleared and you could get through everywhere easily. A bit of sand made the ride difficult in some places but it is definitely doable
