That was unexpected for me. A highly recommended route for anyone who likes to be out in the forest. It is very beginner-friendly and offers a lot of flow. You can cycle legally and freely in the entire Kroondomein and Vierhoutensebos. The patch of heather at the intersection of the two is an exception, which is also clearly indicated with prohibition signs for cyclists. This connection - part of the official MTB route but anything but technical - is an exception and the only way to legally cycle over this stretch of heather. A nice wide hardpack sandy path that can be a bit loose locally. On the north side, you roll past a stone cone / pyramid with concrete ponds ... well worth a stop.
