The Belvedere tower is a striking watchtower located in Lochem. The tower is located on the Lochemse Berg, a hilly area that is part of the Northeast Twente National Landscape Park. What a beautiful course. It's hard, it's technical, a lot of steep climbing and some very nice country roads at the end to catch a breath. One of the most beautiful courses in the Netherlands if you ask me!

Nice piece, part of the wonderful mountain bike route of Lochem. An enthusiastic group of volunteers has worked very hard lately, making this route one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands. The route is in my top 5 of the most beautiful Dutch MTB routes!

Funny part made by the volunteers who maintain the mountain bike route Lochem. Due to the many brake pits that sometimes arise or the tree roots, it sometimes happens that your bottle bounces out of the holder. If you find someone else's water bottle, or have lost your own, this is the place to leave it or find it again.

There is also a (yet) not marked out connection route of about 7.5 km with the route Ruurlo, which you can find at mtbroutes.nl at the route Ruurlo (excellent connection route through the beautiful surroundings).
