The six-meter-high Oudemirdumerklif formed during the penultimate ice age, when Scandinavian ice sheets pushed up the land, leaving boulders in their wake. The Zuiderzee's wave action ultimately formed three cliffs in Gaasterland. The site is home to some 200 plant species. Badgers and numerous waterfowl also live here.

A unique nature reserve near Wyldemerk, specially protected as a habitat for dragonflies. The reserve consists of fens and swamp forests where dozens of species of dragonflies and other insects float around. Perfect for nature lovers and photographers who want to see these special animals up close.

美しい町スローテンを2016年と2017年に訪れました！ 2022年のハウスボートツアーでは、スローテンをスキップして他の場所を発見することにしました。 2023年、ついに再びその時が来て、スローテンへ行きました。 「キビッツ」という名前の噴水は、実際には非常に美しく、手の込んだ、そして壮観な作りで、その背後にある物語も感動的です。残念ながら、場所はあまりにも絵のようではなく、スローテンの「キビッツ」噴水は駐車場と道路に囲まれています。スローテンには本当に美しい場所がたくさんあるので、噴水は別の場所に置きたかったです。
