Located on the shores of a clear water pond in the old quartzite mine of Rahasmäki, the campfire site is a lovely place to have a break. The mine was in operation during 1940-1948, producing about 40,000 tons of white quartzite sand and gravel. There are two lean-to’s with fireplaces, firewood and toilet.

Tyyskänniemi Koskipuisto is located along the Kämäri Luontopolku where you can enjoy a unique natural experience. This area, known for its scenic beauty, is home to flowing waters, lush greenery, and diverse wildlife. The Koskipuisto (Rapids Park) offers you picturesque views of the river, and the peaceful surroundings make it an excellent place to stop and relax.

Pirunkellari Cave is a fascinating natural wonder. The cave is known for its dramatic rock formations and eerie atmosphere. Legend has it that the cave's name, which translates to "Devil's Cellar," comes from local folklore. It’s a great stop if you're interested in geology and history, with the rugged surroundings adding to its mystique.

Along the Pisan kierto trail stands an ancient, protected pine tree, a living monument to the passage of time. Its weathered trunk and sprawling branches tell a story of resilience, having withstood the elements for centuries. As you pass by, take a moment to appreciate its grandeur.

The Tahko Stairs at Huutavanholma are Finland’s longest outdoor stairs, with 1,054 steps climbing approximately 800 meters up Tahko Hill. Built in 2017, they offer a challenging but rewarding ascent through scenic forested terrain. At the top, you’ll find an observation tower with panoramic views over the surrounding lakes and countryside. Whether you're after a workout or a nature-filled climb, these stairs provide a unique way to experience the beauty of Tahko.

The Loukkuvuoren lenkki trail runs along this challenging terrain to the top of Loukkuvuori hill and back to the shore. The path is rocky and steep but magnificent views over Lake Konnevesi opening up from the hilltop await you.
