The Rock of Cairo is a cliff overlooking Rémuzat. Facing due east, the morning sun quickly warms the air. It is this phenomenon which allowed the reintroduction of vultures into this area. From the rock you can observe vultures including the Egyptian vulture, although it is becoming rarer. A place not to be missed in the region!

Driving through the gorge from the Col de la Sausse leaves nothing to be desired. Beautiful views that are only to be enjoyed because we are just leaving. So don't just step on the gas, but enjoy the gorge.

Narrow road and quite popular with bikers during the tourist season. There may be stones on the road, be careful downhill. Nice little pass of the Sausse to do in the cool
