The Madamète pass is a pedestrian mountain pass perched at an altitude of 2,508 meters between Lavedan and the Aure valley. It marks one of the northern entrances to the Néouvielle reserve. You can observe one of the many lakes in this preserved area.

Located at 2,041 meters above sea level, dets Coubous is a reservoir lake. In other words, it is a water reservoir whose level is controlled and which fulfills utility purposes (sanitation system, irrigation, etc.).
