Crossing the dam embankment seemed complicated to me (I forded it further along the stream, not without difficulty). Is there an easier/less dangerous way?

You'll have to cross streams several times. Hiking poles are helpful when the water level is higher!

A very little-used, but well-developed road with the best views of the Moorish Mountains. This is exactly what the real Provence looks like

You can still see the burnt branches of the old bushes, but half of them have already disappeared into fresh green. Almost all of the trees survived the fire and have leaves again.

The beautiful Lac des Escarcets is a real highlight of any visit. Don't forget to take a photo of the reflections of the distant mountains on the surface of the lakes

Aged between 5,000 and 7,000 years, Lambert's menhirs are quite fascinating. They stand in the middle of a large clearing, accompanied only by a few oak trees. Their presence here is a source of mystery. One measures 2.9 meters, and the other 3.6, which makes them the highest menhirs in Provence.

Currently not recommended. Last August 2021, many hectares were on fire here. Everything is black and scorched. It will be fine, but it will take years.
