Very beautiful place, you can take shelter there in case of bad weather and eat a bite on the huge Vosges sandstone table. The hike all around is nice and easy. The trails are almost all clear.

The picnic area of the Grotte Saint-Vit surprises because it is so unusual: a flowering garden tended daily by enthusiastic volunteers; a chapel embedded in a grotto and a spectacular view of the Château du Haut-Barr. A car park, about 20 minutes' walk away via easy-to-walk paths, makes the Grotte Saint-Vit accessible to everyone. There are numerous wooden benches, tables and stools available.

The Maison des Rochers can be visited for €3 per entry. It actually forms a set of three so-called semi-troglodyte dwellings. They remained inhabited until 1958 but today are only house museums restored and fitted out with period furniture. The settings found in these buildings echo the legends of the region.
