Dwarf Cave

A small entrance gives access to this fairly deep cave. It owes its name to Doctor Herrings, a village doctor with a passion for caving who died here following a landslide in 1914.

This 35 meter high oak tree is around 250 years old. Initially planned for slaughter in the spring and then autumn of 1939, the project was abandoned with the start of the Second World War.

The Plateau des Nains with its two vantage points Heideflüh and Erdwiebelenfelsen offers an ingenious view of the surrounding area. Here at the Heideflüh there is a grating on the rock and two large squares with tables, benches and grills have been set up. The rocks of the Heidenfluh are said to have served as a backdrop for the Druidic practices of the Celts.

From the summit of the Loechlefelsen you have a very beautiful panoramic view; the entire rock is very well secured with a fence.

Butte surrounded by a ditch on three sides and protected by the slope on the fourth, it would rather be the motte of a medieval castle.
