アグドの天然記念物・トップ2

目の前に広がるパノラマは、激しい火山活動の遺産です。アグド複合体の最初の噴火は、約95万年前にここモンサンルーで始まりました。それらは、約5万年後にプティピオックの噴火で終わりました。経過した時間にもかかわらず、キャップ・ダグドの地形はこの並外れた地質学的歴史の痕跡を保持しています。

アグドの街の中心にある印象的な噴水で、動物、猛獣、両生類が絶えず流れる水の噴流を吐き出しています。 その上には、この記念碑にその名を与えた美しいアグドの女性が、決意を固めた表情で前を見つめています。彼女の手に持つ王笏は、羊飼いの杖のようです。アグドの女性の足元では、人間の姿をした人々が絶えず芳香水をまき散らしています。

The place is not easy to reach by bike because the paths are very sandy but they allow access to a relatively quiet beach (between the Clot Canal and the mouth of the Hérault). Beautiful dune landscape highlighted by typical vegetation. Note the presence of several blockhouses dating from the Second World War.

Hello everyone, a not so nice round 1/3 are on roads, very quiet but well... not my thing. Here and there are some really good spots and sections. You will be provided with food and drink on the route, a trekking bike is at least necessary. The heart of the tour is clearly the Mont Saint-Loup with its 113m height and the amazing view. I was up there at a time when it had just rained and had the opportunity to take some great pictures. One with a rainbow over Sete. You can ride up and down the hill on tarmac roads but also through the forests, which is only recommended for riding down. An ancient volcano located between Cap d'Agde and Agde, Mont Saint-Loup peaks at 113 meters. Dating back 750,000 years, it has shaped the landscape with islets, coves, beaches, and cliffs, while giving Agde its distinct character with monuments in iridescent gray basalt. It offers a spectacular panorama of the coastline and the hinterland from its summit, accessible by green paths rich in Mediterranean fauna and flora, preserved from car traffic.

The Fontaine de la belle Agathoise was created in 1857 by Auguste Baussan.
