Trail past the waterfall is essentially blocked by many fallen trees. I would recommend the alternative trail from Villapourcon of about 11 km.

After the waterfall, the path is no longer easy to follow. There must have been a storm; a pile of fallen trees are lying around, and the path is no longer recognizable. It gets better again after crossing the small river.

This beautiful lake surrounded by green hills and trees is a delight to behold. It supplies the neighboring mill of the same name.

The Morvan natural park has many wild rivers and this one is no exception to the rule. Not far from its source, the Dragne tumbles over the rocks and is worth a visit.

I was there on May 7. An emblematic place to see absolutely well documented on one of the main watersheds of France. Take the opportunity to go around Mount Préneley (nothing to see at the top) and follow the short educational path along the Yonne to the hamlet of Port des Lamberts.

During an extensive visit to the Gallic fortress of Binracte, the beautifully mossy beech trees are especially worth seeing. Beautiful specimens can be admired especially around the old fortress wall. You do have to leave the footpath at the right time and climb down. But then it's really fun!

Mont Beuvray is also known as the ancient Oppidum of the Gallic town of Bibracte. It is not only a remarkable archaeological site, but also a place of splendid nature with both an exceptional view and a magical forest of twisting beech trees.
