If you're looking for a picturesque and challenging running destination, you should check out the Rocher du Pendu viewpoint, which overlooks the Semois. This viewpoint is accessible by several trails, including the GR 14 Corbion, which offers a variety of terrain and elevation changes. From the top of the rock, you can admire the view of the river, Cordemois Abbey and the surrounding forest.

Very nice view of the Bouillon valley. Very steep climb from Porte de France, but more moderate from the other side (near the Arboretum).

The route continues to a place called Montagne de Baimont and also called La Ramonette. 'Ramons' are brooms made with broom. This former watchtower, surrounded by moats and verges and formerly palisades, served to guard the city and the citadel of Bouillon. You can enjoy the unobstructed view of the river, the three bridges, the 330 meter long castle and the listed houses of the 17th and 18th centuries.
