(Note: Shouldn't it be called 'Cascade de Vulvoz'?) This waterfall is beautiful! Also in October. We did not encounter any other hikers during the entire route, even at the waterfall we were completely alone. We started 'upstairs', also recommended. There are still walls with some windows still standing. And you see a bowl hollowed out by the water. Then we walked down - a slippery, steep path indeed. We thought it was worth it.

Between strange rock formations, dense vegetation and small streams, this forest plunges into a bewitching universe.

Built in 1968, the Vouglans dam creates the third largest water reservoir in France and its construction lasted 5 years. You cannot visit it but you can enjoy this amazing view.

So many things to see from here! A beautiful view of Lake Coiselet and the Bienne valley. From here, you can also see the village of Chancia and the peak of Oliferne.

It is not a simple waterfall. Its interest, compared to the many waterfalls in the region, lies in the hole that has been dug in the rock over time. So you can see the flowing waters of the Vulva flowing into the void, passing through this hole.

The Scia belvedere is in the heart of a natural site classified as Natura 2000 and offers a superb viewpoint over the Haute Chaîne du Jura. You will find an orientation table on site as well as facilities for a certainly well-deserved picnic break (or snack).
