To mark its 20th anniversary in 2013, the Elsterschloss-Gymnasium Support Association commissioned the creation and installation of an art installation on the grounds of the present-day Elsterschloss-Gymnasium. As part of the "Art at the Castle" project, a bronze casting model of Elsterschloss Elsterwerda was created. Directly on the beach of the Grünewalder Lauch camping park you will find this magnificent panorama of the approximately 100 hectare lake in Brandenburg near Grünewalde on the eastern edge of the Niederlausitzer Heidelandschaft nature park.

Beautiful bathing lake with many very nice beaches.

Nice little observation tower with a good view over the old moraine landscape. With a bit of luck you can also observe some birds.

A little further into the forest you can pick mushrooms.

Nice for taking photos or driving past, but it's not really worth taking a break.
