If you are going for a day of tobogganing on the Heinzenberg, you should not miss a short break here for something to eat and drink. It is a few meters up the mountain from the lift, but the detour is worth it. From here, you can take a leisurely sled ride back down.

Good Retreat

The rustic Alp Dadens is perfect for a long rest. Here you can indulge in culinary delights while enjoying a snack and stunning views.

The Malixer Alp (also called Alp Malix) is located above Brambrüesch and below the Furggabüel peak. In summer, there is an inn on the Alp where local products are served to eat and cool drinks to drink.

The Term Bel ski hut on the Dreibündenstein at around 2,000 meters is a great destination for hikers. The path from Domat/Ems to the hut is beautiful, and many also use the train via Feldis or Brambrüesch. The hut, built in 1945 and renovated in 2020, offers a cozy place to stop in the middle of the mountains. Operated by the Domat/Ems ski and snowboard club, it is perfect for a break. We received a very hospitable welcome with a tasting of homemade cheese, deer and beef and delicious rhubarb yoghurt. Highly recommended!
