The section illustrated does not correspond to the towpath. The towpath is very easily accessible via a gravel path with any type of bike. Otherwise, in the woods, there are some great sections with a succession of singletrack trails in the Warneton woods, apart from a few bumps on special mountain bike logs on a few perpendicular sections. The rest is doable with any mountain bike or gravel bike, as long as it's dry and you're up for a bit of slaloming.

Trees are nicely cleaned up and stacked as a mountain, easy to drive over. Nice technical course with many scarce turns

There has been sand here for several years. The normal subsoil is rather soil from loam and clay. That was much easier to drive, now in dry weather it is a difficult and dangerous passage because the sand has a very different depth.

Storm damage not accessible for the moment, too many fallen trees.

I don't know what time of year the photo was, but I've never seen it so swampy. Halfway through the trial it is a bit of searching for the right way, it is diagonally across the street.
