The Mirador del Tombo is one of the most impressive views in the Valdeón Valley, in the Picos de Europa. Located very close to the village of Cordiñanes de Valdeón, it offers spectacular views of the Cares Gorge and the Central Massif of the Picos de Europa.

Cordiñanes de Valdeón is a small mountain village located in the Valdeón Valley, within the Picos de Europa National Park, in the province of León. Although less well-known than Caín or Posada de Valdeón, it offers access to spectacular trails and high-mountain landscapes.

Wonderful location in the Picos de Europa

The Cordiñanes Reservoir is a picturesque spot located near Posada de Valdeón, in the Picos de Europa region. Ideal for leisurely walks, birdwatching, and enjoying nature.

The viewing point was opened on 10 August 1964 and features an iron cross and a stone column with a sculpture of a chamois. There is also an engraving listing all the peaks that can be seen from the site, making it easier to identify them.

One of the most beautiful ports in the heart of the Picos de Europa in the province of León. Gentle climbs through forests with several viewpoints to the peaks.

The Panderrueda pass is one of the most spectacular mountain passes in the Picos de Europa national park. During the ascent and also when crowning it, you can get impressive views of the summits of the western and central massif of the Picos de Europa. From the Caín de Valdeón slope it has a length of 18.9 kilometers and a positive slope of 1015 meters is overcome with an average slope of 5.37%.

It offers an impressive view of the natural beauty of the Picos de Europa. There are two sculptures, of a cross and a chamois. It is also an excellent bird watching point, for example the griffon vulture, the golden eagle and the Egyptian vulture.
