Mirador de la Gola sud The mouth of the Mijares River is part of a wetland declared as a protected area. The Mijares River is the most important river in the province of Castellón, both in terms of flow and length. The mouth is formed by an alluvial cone, closed superficially by a gravel cord The path is designed for non-motorized uses, mainly walkers and cyclists

The grandiose and precise monument indicating the passage of the Zero Meridian (Greenwich) through Almassora, thus marking the Western and Eastern Hemisphere of the planet at this point, in the photo note the shadow indicating the Crossing of the Meridian at 12 o'clock!!!

The park was designed in 1869 and is an integral part of more than just city residents. A place worth seeing.

The ficus is a monumental tree of local interest in the city of Castellón. It was planted in the early 1930s and is located in the Plaza de María Agustina. It is huge with a height of approximately 18 meters and a trunk with a circumference of 4.55 meters.

There are several monuments scattered in the park. Beside the temple the bust of Tárrega in Bronca, of Adsuara and the bust of Vicente Castell, also in bronze, of Octavio Vicent. Next to the old rose garden, now a children's playground, a monument to the International Year of the Child from 1979, made of sheet metal. Near the pond is a monument to Domingo Herrero of Tomás Colón Bauzano and many benches invite you to rest.
