The passage or "crossing" through the rocks is not easy to find when hiking towards St. Elm. I had to look for it for a while on the hike a few years ago. I don't know whether it is better marked now.

We climbed up to the monastery via the coastal hiking trail, a great, spectacular path... with alpine touches. Flip flops have absolutely no place there. Descent via the serpentine road. Always very beautiful views. Donation of €1 requested, meaningful work is being done here, so feel free to take a euro with you. There is nothing to drink or eat for sale in the former monastery. On the way from Banyalbufar to Port des Canonge, there are many places with wonderful views of the coastal panorama all the way to Sa Foradada. Since many of the pine trees are currently broken or have fallen over due to storms, you can admire the clear view of the coastline over a longer stretch. The path is very easy to walk.
