タマダバの松林は、カナリア諸島で最も保存状態の良い松林の1つです。この松林は、グラン・カナリア島で最も保存状態の良い自然保護区の1つであるタマダバ自然公園によって保護されています。さらに、ユネスコによって生物圏保護区に指定された地域の一部でもあります。

We hiked the tour anti-clockwise today and found it very good - especially since if you park at the kiosk, you can actually walk right out of the car when you come back and don't have to walk up the road in the blazing sun. The rock walls are impressive, not just the color, but also the clearly visible layers that have formed over thousands of years or more.

You often read that the "Playa de Güigüi" is the most beautiful beach in Gran Canaria. It is isolated and can only be reached by a strenuous hike lasting several hours. There is also a boat transfer from Puerto de Mogán. However, as there is no mooring on the beach, the last part of the route has to be covered in a small rubber boat or by swimming. The crossing to the northern part of the beach, the Playa de Güigüi Chico, can only be done at low tide. Remember the way back! It is strongly recommended that you find out about the tides in advance. xxxxxx "The tour should be hiked in summer, even if it is hotter then. The sandy beach is often washed away from the coast in winter and only washed up again by the sea in summer." - We were there at the end of November and there was a lot of sandy beach.

The ascent to the summit leads through romantic pine forests on well-developed paths. Highly recommended if you want to travel north on Gran Canaria.

Anyone who can and wants to stay overnight will get an incredibly beautiful backdrop in the evening and tomorrow!

I recommend doing the tour counterclockwise. Wonderful views of the colored rock on the climb, great views at the top for a break and the highlight with a pool on the descent.
