Great walk

The Fonte das Sete Fontes is a natural spring located in Pontevedra, in the province of Pontevedra, in the region of Galicia, in northwestern Spain. Specifically, the spring is located in the Parque Natural das Sete Fontes, a protected area that encompasses several springs and streams.

The Cotorredondo Natural Park is structured around the lake and the streams that feed it, creating a unique space where native species coexist with trees of very different origins. As a recreational area, it has perfectly marked paths, numerous fountains, playgrounds and tables and benches.

Along the northern coast of the Ría de Vigo is an incredibly diverse natural landscape where the fresh water of the rivers meets the salt water of the San Simón coast, near Vilaboa. This swampy aquatic environment is attractive to explore.

At this point begins the Route of the Fondón river mills. Next to the trail, going up some wooden stairs, you can get a small sample of what this magical tour includes along pools and waterfalls. There is a fountain to refill your water bottle and several benches to sit down and relax.
