Access is via forest tracks in good condition. Obviously, to reach 2000m it takes a little time but the reward is worth it: the views are magnificent over the valleys and peaks at 360 degrees. A delight !

This is the natural pass between the valleys of Chistau and Benasque. As such, it has been used for millennia and proof of this is the megalithic circle next to the track, which even then served to delimit border limits called "mugas".

Popular waterfall for its aesthetics and accessibility from Cerler. The upper part, also called the Bom waterfall, freezes during some winter months and becomes a regular place for ice climbing. This is because it spends most of the day in the shade, which is why the upper ravine is called Barranco de l'Ubago (shady in Aragonese).

10月 9, 2022, Ibón de Plan (Basa de la Mora)
The ibón de Plan is popularly known as "Basa de la Mora" due to the local legend that tells how a Moorish princess came to this place fleeing the conflicts between Moors and Christians. The princess was lost and her spirit was trapped in the lake forever. Tradition has it that early in the morning of San Chuan (San Juan) those with a pure heart who wash their faces with the waters of the ibón can see the silhouette of the princess dancing with jewels and snakes. This myth is so ingrained in the popular culture of the Chistau valley that there is a saying that is still passed down from generation to generation that goes like this: "If ye que i puyas bela maitinada de San Chuan ta ibón and you don't bieses it, you will have to think about laba-te l'anima… it's only clean güellos, they can see the Moorish princess of the summits".

The Plan or Basa de la Mora lake is located at an altitude of 1,910 meters and fills up after the thaw each winter. The name of Basa de la Mora (or "Basa la Mora" in Aragonese) comes from a local folktale according to which a Moorish princess drowned in this lake while trying to escape Christian troops. According to this legend, during the night of San Juan, people who wash their faces with the lake water can see the princess dancing on the surface.

A very intense hike!!! Plan to leave very early to be able to continue the descent and above all watch the weather forecast before leaving. Access to Lake Oô and Lake Espingo are quite accessible, although the climb to the second lake is rather physical! do not hesitate to stop to regain strength because you never see the end of the climb ;-) For the climb to the Portillon, take your time because the climb is very physical and very technical. Watch where you step. THE reward will be at the shelter ^_^

7月 29, 2021, Valle de Estós
The valley is about 12 km long. The river Estós flows through the valley, surrounded by the peaks, which are also over 3,000 m high and border on France. The altitude of the valley is between 1,400 m and 3,375 m. Since 1994 the valley has been part of the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park. Several plant and animal species occur here. Running along the valley floor is the Estós River, which is the source of numerous gorges and streams from the numerous ibones (glacial lakes), perennial snow and some of Europe's southernmost glaciers.
