During the summer months of July and August, you must make a reservation via https://www.ontinyent.es/va/pagina/pou-clar. This is only possible for Spanish residents with a NI number. Once you have a reservation, you can take a bus from Ontinyent Poliesportiu Municipal to Pou Clar on weekends. There is no parking at Pou Clar during these months. Parking is available at Poliesportiu Municipal. From there, it's a walk of about 2 kilometers. And then you'll find yourself in a beautiful setting with wonderfully refreshing water.

Pou Clar is a beautiful natural site located near Bocairent, in the Albaida Valley. This place is known for its crystal-clear pools formed by the Clariano River. The pools have names such as "Pou dels Esclaus", "Pou Gelat" and "Pou dels Cavalls" Pou Clar is ideal for swimming and enjoying nature, especially in the summer months. In addition, the surroundings offer hiking trails that allow you to explore the natural beauty of the area.

This is where the Clariano river rises in the Sierra de l'Ombria and the natural pools have created a unique landscape. The geology of the area has created these round bodies of water over time and each has its own name. There are Pou dels Esclaus, Pou Clar, Pou Gelat, Pou de la Reixa, Pou Fosc and Pou dels Cavalls. In the winter months, the small car park by the bridge is open. From there, a staircase leads directly to the first pool.

The views are undoubtedly spectacular. The climb is done on scratched concrete and is very demanding, but it is worth going up to contemplate the landscape.

Impressive ravine which you can explore with your bike along a path in good condition. It will take a while because every so often you will want to stop and take photos. Highly recommended!

It is an archaeological site from the Iberian period that is located at the top of the Serra Grossa. Along the route there are explanatory signs that bring you closer to discovering the life of the time.
