The Hervidero Waterfall is a double waterfall on the Guadalix River, nestled in a rocky canyon and surrounded by riverside vegetation. It can be reached via a flat and easy 7 km (round trip) route starting from San Agustín del Guadalix, ideal for family hikes.

Of great beauty and easy to access (be careful, there are some winding stairs) they are one of these little-known corners of Madrid. In the bed of the Guadalix River and almost at the mouth of its spectacular canyon, the waterfall depends on the opening of the reservoir, upstream, which guarantees water flow practically all year round.

Rock secluded from the path from which there is a beautiful 360-degree view. It is full of sheep/goat excrement hence the name.

Path that surrounds the Dehesa Boyal and enters the plan of its regeneration. It has informative signs and a curious hotel for insects.

Beautiful waterfall of the Guadalix river that forms the Laguna de los Patos. A perfect place for a dip at the end of the route. The shore is reached by stairs, you have to leave the bikes upstairs.

The waterfall is located in a very calm and picturesque natural environment that you cannot miss. It is a good place both for a run and for hiking, it is well reached by several trails running along the Guadalix river.
