At the end of the road is a picnic area and parking. From here, a path leads down the riverbed to the waterfall, a total distance of 6.5 km (4 miles) round trip. In October, the waterfall had dried up.

The Rocigalgo Peak or Corocho de Rocigalgo is the highest mountain in the province of Toledo and one of the highest in the Montes de Toledo. It belongs to the Cabañeros National Park, in the municipality of Los Navalucillos, in Castilla-La Mancha.

Torres del Estena is a fascinating place in the Cabañeros National Park, located near Navas de Estena in the province of Toledo. These geological formations consist of three rocks aligned with each other. Their peculiarity and beauty make them one of the icons of the Boquerón de Estena trail. Under the tower on the right, there is a cave or small rock shelter that, until 1932, housed a hermitage known as El Tío Cestero.

Fantastic rock towers that stand as gatekeepers made of quartzite at the side of the path.

The path continues to gain height and, after crossing a rocky section with the help of chains – which is very helpful if the ground is wet – reaches the Chorrera Chica. It will not be difficult to observe the flight of some birds of prey or the griffon vultures, very present in the skies of Cabañeros, and, with a little more luck, come across a deer that comes to drink from the stream.

Before reaching the end of the route, you can see the footprints in the rocks of a giant marine worm from 475 million years ago. The ocean current left these traces of the worm's movement on the seabed.

The three towers are made of quartzite rock and are aligned with each other, they are part of a tectonic gap that was formed due to the frictional movement of a fault.
