There is very little shade on the entire circular route, only the last, short section in the gorge has shade. In summer it can get as hot as 40 degrees Celsius and then only the section in the gorge is recommended, not the circular hike.

This is one of the hotspots for wild and free-flying vultures. I counted 16 of them. With their wingspan of almost 3 meters, they can be easily observed with the naked eye in the Foz de Lombier gorge.

An incredible work of art of nature! This impressive canyon formed by the Salazar River is a true natural wonder that you have to visit if you are in the area. From the viewpoint at 630 masl you will have amazing views of the entire reserve.

This wonderful and impressive canyon formed by centuries of erosion of the Irati River is a place that you cannot miss. You can follow the circular path or do just the section along the Vía Verde de Irati crossing tunnels and bridges. Any alternative path you take, I assure you that the landscape will surprise you!

Simply wonderful! A unique place with incredible panoramic views of the entire Irati River valley and beyond. It is a very picturesque and photogenic place in itself, just be careful to take the classic photo sitting on the top of the cliff, you have come all the way to enjoy the views, do not take unnecessary risks.

From 1403 meters above sea level the views are simply amazing. The cliffs provide clear views given their geology and on days with good visibility you will have the best postcard views of the Pyrenees, both on the French and Spanish sides.
