This descending valley, which runs alongside the Tagus River for many kilometres, is full of unique and unrepeatable corners, due to the capricious formations that occur every few metres.

The Barranco de la Hoz, also known as Barranco de la Virgen de la Hoz, is a magical enclave in the province of Guadalajara, within the Alto Tajo Natural Park. This place, carved over the centuries by the Gallo River, presents a spectacular reddish canyon, one of the most beautiful in the Iberian Peninsula and the most visited in the Alto Tajo region. Here, legends and nature intermingle to create a landscape with a unique magic. Barranco de la Hoz is located just 15 kilometers from Molina de Aragón, between Corduente and Ventosa.

5月 15, 2023, Puente de San Pedro
A very nice bridge for walkers and cyclists if they ride a bike. It allows you to cross the Tagus River and avoid the road. The view from both bridges is nice, but I prefer the safety of the pedestrian bridge.

Viewpoint with aerial views of a geological formation caused over time by the erosion of the Gallo River. True sculptures and reddish rock formations have been formed in a fluvial canyon, leaving behind some of the most impressive gorges in this Natural Park.

Near the San Pedro Bridge is the beach that has the same name as the bridge. In summer it is full of people looking to cool off. It is located a few meters from the same road!

The San Pedro Bridge in Zaorejas, Guadalajara is a magical and exceptional place for its crystal clear waters, it is located in the Alto Tajo Natural Park, located between the southeast of the province of Guadalajara, and the northeast of Cuenca. It is of great importance for the conservation of biodiversity, and its system of river canyons and gorges, being considered among the most important in Europe.

In this place, the Tagus, barely born, forms a small waterfall. A place of great beauty and accessible by car if we want to start the route here

In the narrow gorge of the river Gallo, red sandstone cliffs rise steeply on both sides - and in the middle there is a small Romanesque chapel from the 13th century. The chapel is absolutely worth seeing and definitely worth a visit just because of the location. From the chapel, a hiking trail leads steeply up to a viewpoint from which you have a fabulous view of the gorge.
