Spectacular. Not as challenging as expected.

Well chosen name for this beautiful rock formation. The bad thing is the non-existent path and full of spikes, if you dare, I recommend patience and intuition to get around them. In my opinion, my itinerary going down was more comfortable than the one going up, from the track.

Many consider her the oldest inhabitant of Navarra and that is how her figure denotes it. It is undoubtedly a specimen that has been there for several centuries, resisting the onslaught of the weather and serving as a shelter for those who need shelter along the way. Its open trunk is a clear indication of its great age, but despite this it is still standing there, firm and dominating the landscapes of Eraul.

From here there are views of the Sierra de Lokiz, made up of high-rise rocky outcrops, ravines and native forests. It has a surprising diversity of plant species and an important network of trails and paths.

It is without a doubt the top to visit if you are walking through the Iratxe area. With an altitude of 1045 meters above sea level. the views are impressive and you can enjoy a beautiful landscape. It is next to the San Cipriano and towards the opposite side is the geodesic vertex of the same name. A place worth visiting!
