Been on this today and it’s an absolute bog. Totally wrecked by the logging contractors. Only a short length at the bottom remains

Unfortunately the upper part of Lockerbrook is now a fireroad after the completion of the logging works, only the lower section down to the reservoir remains

Completely spoiled since the Forestry work last year it’s only useful now for access down to the dam.

If I can make it down this, so can you. It’s not so steep that you can’t keep your speed down if necessary. Just keep your head up and keep looking ahead to pick the best line between the various lumps and bumps

Went to ride this last Saturday, closed due to forestry work.

After a period of rain or a washed-out Summer, The Beast becomes a stream just to add another dimension. Set in a rich & beautiful section of forest.

Very rough, need a good mtb, but great fun

Steep gradients of up to 17% and a very rough route. Full suspension recommended.

An incredibly rocky descent that’s best tackled with a bit of speed. It doesn’t matter how hard you try to stick to your line choice, it’s almost impossible to make it all the way down without one or two ‘detours’!

Otherwise known as Potato Alley. Much better to go down than up. Loose rocks and constantly evolves and changes. There is a cheat line but that’s no fun.

Only pedal bikes, no motorbikes. Take your litter with you!!! Cool little place which can be busy at times.

Heels down, head up and don't be afraid of carrying speed! An absolute blast of a descent with some alternative high lines through the edge of the trees if you keep your eyes open. Which is another great tip. Keep your eyes open!

Two options almost - Stick to the right if you want a few windier singletrack bits thrown in among the boulders

You'll need excellent bike handling skills to get down this. Masses of large loose rocks, dips and cuts waiting to ensnare you and throw you off line, and your bike. An unattractive prospect to fall onto this surface. To gnarly for me. I walked down!

An awesomely rocky decent. Lines tend to change due to the rocks having moved around, so keep that head up.

Been heavily maintained and improved, always somone who's put hours into maintainance up there absolutely lovely guys bits there for every skill set, floay mainline ( everything roleable), swtichbacks, ghetto line, road gaps and plenty more features being built daily if you havnt rode this place or havnt rode it in a while defiantly with the trip so many new features options, finding can be a challenge but if your coming from Fitton Hill you can come past the skate park behind New Bridge School to the trail head or if your coming from the bottom just keep an eye out for the sign saying Farebottom Bobs bear right after the bridge and you'll see a sign telling you your at the trails.
