"The Chevin" including Jacksons Lane this is a mile and a half of downhill action, past the Golf Course and getting steeper all the time

"Technical climb" = technical carry. Don't bother trying to get up this on anything but a mountain goat.

But don't bother going up it unless you like pushing

A great area. Somewhere I should ride more often than I do (pretty much on my doorstep). I go up from what used to be the HSBC in Duffield, Approach Hazlewood and get into the Chevin that way.

Agree with you guys this is a fun ride - quite exhilarating

Black Rocks is great for progression. Some easier and harder trails and tricky bits to practice. Great fun.

Off the fireroad into some nicely carved berms towards the fireroad. Some loamy step downs and nice gradual descent over rooty sections with a steep roll onto the bottom fireroad to finish. A favourite to get warmed up on before hitting the steeper stuff and nice to session.

Too right @Jonny H, starts off as a little singletrack and then you meet the rocks!

Good fun, nothing too dangerous, keep left down Jacksons Lane is a good ROOT !!

My favourite trail in Black Rocks, not JUST because it's named after myself but because it was named after me for a reason. Aiken dug this one out 2 winters ago and it's riding so sweet right now! It's got all the fun features collected into a fast and flowing single track. It's not too technical, some features you can attempt or safely avoid. No mandatory jumps, all rollable and a fun little rocky bridge section. There are a couple of drops but super mellow. I'd give it two chillis🌶️🌶️ and 4 party poppers 🎉🎉🎉🎉 because I love it. If theres been a decent amount of rain I'll warn you now, the drainage isn't dailed so there will be some mega puddles.

A great fun fast descent, beat to do it before the walkers get up!

Great run down the Chevin a few drop offs but I think they could all be avoided if you didn’t feel confident

A fun descent that took me somewhat by surprise, just watch out for hikers

Loamy steep descent down to the fire road. There is a table top half way down thats rollable. After the table top the trail gets super steep into some tight corners and loose. Leaving you shooting to the bottom with an 'again, again!' hype.
