ホレウェーゲン（Hollow ways）は、レモン質の土壌を持つ丘陵地帯に見られる典型的な小さな景観要素です。ほとんどのホレウェーゲンは、中世にまでさかのぼると考えられています。同じ道を何世紀にもわたって徒歩または馬車で利用した結果、自然な浸食プロセスが生じました。したがって、ホレウェーゲンは歴史の一部を運び、私たちの文化遺産の一部を形成しています。 （現地の案内板）

ネイヘムボスでは、自然はほぼ自発的に進化することができます。木々は古くなり、枯れ木がたくさんあります。枝が落ちる危険があるため、小道にとどまることが重要です。豊かな植物相が存在します。より酸性の土壌では、特にワラビ、スズラン、そしてダンクルトが見られます。より粘土質の土壌では、春にはヒヤシンス、アネモネ、ワイルドガーリック、そしてイエロースカルトを鑑賞できます。森の保護区の西側、フリッツェンボスとしても知られる地域は、特にクロウメモドキ、ヨーロッパトネリコ、キンポウゲ、オオウマノアシガタ、クレソン、そして2種類のゴールデンアイなどの典型的な種を含むスプリングウッドで構成されています。 3つの計画された散歩道、すなわちディッケ・ブーケンワンドリング、ベフィンゲンワンドリング、そしてグローベンワンドリングに従って、自然の美しさを楽しんでください。 (エージェンシー・ナトゥール・エン・ボス)

The Groenenberg castle and park grounds, located in Gaasbeek and Vlezenbeek, have been the property of the Flemish Community since 1981, which had it thoroughly restored in 1992. The domain was opened to the public on July 17, 1990. The castle was built around 1890, in an eclectic style. The 45 hectare English landscape park was created by Edmond Galoppin, one of the most famous landscape architects of that time. The park is characterized by winding roads, curved forest edges and extensive lawns, low flower beds, solitary trees and shrubs. Didactic identification plates have been placed on the most remarkable trees. The park is connected to the historic domain and castle of Gaasbeek.

The krasjel pole was placed in March 2022 on the top of the Nellekensberg in the Neigembos. Its creator is Jeroen Van Assche, the designers Joris Bellemans and son Pieter.

The slightly more than 70 hectare Neigembos once covered almost all of central Belgium, together with the Sonian Forest and the Hallerbos, among others. In this mixed oak and beech forest on the border between the Flemish Ardennes and the Pajottenland you will find height differences from 20 to 90 meters above sea level. A few tough slopes await you here! The deep sunken roads have a distinct microclimate and are a pleasure to walk in.
