I wanted to take this path on May 1, 2024. Absolutely impassable because it is overgrown. To go to Lecce I had to take the dual carriageway :-(

A beautiful stretch of single track that is very smooth and fun 😉

Torcito, in the ancient feud called CERCETO, was destroyed and razed to the ground by the Saracens. The farm, and the whole park, is crossed by the ancient and famous Via Francigena. A stopping point for pilgrims, it still has an ancient road layout dug into the outcropping rock.
