Belvedere dell’Albero di Ciccio – Panorama of the Gulf and Vesuvius A breathtaking point where the view embraces the entire Gulf of Castellammare, Vesuvius and the valleys below. Here stands a majestic centuries-old oak tree, known as “L’Albero di Ciccio”, dedicated to Professor Francesco Di Pace, a beloved and esteemed figure for his commitment to protecting the territory and local memory. Next to the tree, a plaque commemorates his thought and vision. An ideal place for a silent stop, a photo and a thought.

Very simple stretch that from Via Lacco di Ravello leads to Fontana Carosa. Route Suitable for all types of training. To continue towards Passo del Lupo follow the path on the left.

Definitely not accessible by bike, at least not at this time of year. The path is completely overgrown, and even on foot it was barely passable. But the grotto is worth the effort!

The Fontana Carosa – E.M. Forster, created thanks to the work and passion of a group of volunteers, retraces the steps of the British writer who, after having stayed several times in Ravello, set one of his first stories there, Storia di un panic, published for the first time in 1911 in the Omnibus Celeste collection. Author of short stories, novels and literary essays, Edward Morgan Forster achieved fame only after his death because some of his novels were made into films such as "Casa Howard", "A Room with a View", "A Passage to India"

Very good place for a rest. You can use the well-signposted hiking trail (Forsterweg) from Ravello. The times are good.
