The archaeological site of the Capelvenere caves hosts a necropolis dating back to the Sican people. It is a complex system of caves dug directly into the rock. The name derives from a very particular species of fern that sprouts inside the necropolis.

The Serra Quisquina (1159m) offers a privileged point of view of the surrounding hills and mountains of the Sicani and can be easily reached from Santo Stefano Quisquina.

From this point on the Kassar plateau, a splendid view of the Sicani mountains is offered. A breathtaking panorama that enhances the natural beauty of Sicily.

Near the ancient remains of the Greek city of Camico, among the reliefs of the Sicani Park, rises the Pizzo della Rondine, in a hilly-mountainous environment not poor in rivers and streams, dry in summer, luxuriant in spring, humid in winter.

The Castle of Mussomeli, also known as Castello Manfredonico, was built starting from 1366 at the behest of Manfredi III of Chiaramonte, Count of Modica. Although there are no traces, it is believed that the same area was previously occupied by an Arab fortification. The castle is built on a limestone cliff and is considered one of the best examples of the Chiaramontian style, a current of Gothic developed in Sicily during the domination of the Chiaramonte. Every year, towards the end of August, the castle comes alive with characters in medieval clothes for the traditional feast of the Ancient Castle fair.
