From this panoramic point you can observe Bagnoregio in all its splendor and drama. You can also clearly see the long pedestrian bridge that joins the two tuff hills on which Civita di Bagnoregio and Bagnoregio stand, divided by a narrow gorge.

From this high point on the ridge at the east end of Bagnoregio there are impressive views of the valley, the gorge, the impressive backdrop of Civita di Bagnoregio on the towering tuff ridge and the pedestrian bridge over the gorge which provides the exciting access to the gorge fascinating old town through an old city gate. The somewhat tedious way down from the vantage point, over the bridge and on the other side uphill again to the town is worth it!
