The Garden of Aquatic Plants was created in 1959 by architect Pietro Porcinai, reclaiming an abandoned stone quarry. Today, it features a natural pool with nymphaeums and aquatic plants from Lake Trasimeno and other areas. The interconnected pools and water features create a striking balance between nature and architecture. Since its restoration, the area has become a unique biogarden, where water lilies and lotus flowers bloom in summer.

From the beach of Lake Trasimeno, a long stone staircase leads through an olive grove up to Castiglione des Lago and, once at the top, offers a beautiful view over the lake.

The Trasimeno Lake Park, located in Umbria, is a protected natural area that surrounds the fourth largest lake in Italy. Characterized by suggestive landscapes, the park includes hills covered with olive groves, reed beds along the shores and three islands, Polvese, Maggiore and Minore

Punta Navaccia overlooks Lake Trasimeno directly. In this area of the lake it is possible to practice water sports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, sup, wakeboarding and water skiing.
