A mountain guide is highly recommended, especially if you're doing this for the first time. You can also book one a few days in advance on site.

The Allalinhorn is a four-thousand-meter peak, perhaps the easiest in the Alps from a technical perspective. Since 1984, an underground funicular has operated along its northern flank, taking it up to 570 meters above sea level, significantly shortening the climb.

Everyone wants to take the perfect photo, but you can only do that if you're lucky - when the sun is shining, it's not raining and the summit is clear of clouds. We were lucky and we're over the moon!

Fantastic view of 28 four-thousanders and the Gorner Glacier. Try to drive up here first thing in the morning, then it's not quite as crowded on the viewing platform!

It is a 4000 meter peak that is very easy to reach even for beginners (I only started climbing glaciers this year, and this is the third and highest. But it should be done with an Alpine Guide or an expert guide. With the track present at the end, just follow the track, but a guide is always necessary to manage the unexpected..... then if the track is not there....... it is better that there is a guide to beat the track......
