Stretch full of gullies, very panoramic lunar landscape

A point to stop and admire the view.

The stone mushroom is a curious rock formation about fifteen meters high. The upper part is formed by a gigantic mass of ophiolitic rock, while the lower part, which supports it, is a column of conglomerate.

The path of the ridges is a panoramic route that winds through the gully landscape of the Piana Crixia Park. In fact, you walk between ridges and steep slopes in continuous erosion, with the sole presence of pioneer vegetation.

It is a dialect term that originates from the fusion of "muròn" (big face) and riònd (round). Muriòn: big round face. The muriòn are formed following selective erosion which tends to "preserve" the harder and more compact blocks of sandstone and to "consume" more of the more friable sandy sandstone.

Very similar to the Ciciu di Villar, they look like large mushrooms with a stem made of earth and a stone cap
