Between Pomte Presalino and Badia Tedalda, turning off before the suspension bridge, you'll find a minor paved road on the left that also leads to the Presalino Waterfall. A pleasant road that passes through scattered ancient houses and through a beautiful forest that leads to the Presalino Waterfall. It's a charming natural waterfall located in the municipality of Badia Tedalda (Arezzo), within the Alpe della Luna State Nature Reserve.

The waterfall was formed by millennia of erosion: The Alferello River carved deep into the rock of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, creating natural steps and pools. These geological processes, combined with the interplay of water, frost, and vegetation, shaped the striking rock formations and the landscape we see today. An impressive testament to the power of nature.

The Alferello waterfall, among the most famous in Romagna and easily reachable on foot, is a true natural spectacle, as well as a good place to immerse yourself in the water on the hottest days. In fact, it can be reached without particular problems from Alfero or Castel d'Alfero.

The Alferello Falls, also known as the Trout Falls, are a natural wonder located in the village of Alfero, in the heart of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines, in the province of Forlì-Cesena. The waterfall has a drop of about 32 meters and offers a breathtaking spectacle, framed by the greenery of the surrounding forests.

The flow of the water then or less rapid of that waterfall marks the period and the seasons. Passing by here it is almost obligatory to take a photo.

The Alferello waterfall is about thirty meters high and offers a suggestive path immersed in greenery. The rock, of sandstone or marl nature, creates a fascinating spectacle.
