beautiful but overcrowded beach

From here you have a privileged view of Isola Bella, a rocky islet at the foot of Taormina connected to the mainland by a thin strip of sand. A ticket is required to visit. The Piano Vernà equipped area is located just below Mount Pizzo Vernà. It can be reached by car up to its gate, going up from the town of Rimiti. Once you reach the gate, you walk down for about 200 m. Very pleasant area, with tables and fire points, and a beautiful fountain. There is also a hut. Bivouackable

A super-beautiful little island, as the name suggests. No sandy beach, just rocks and pebbles. But the water is incredibly clear, perfect for swimming. It's best to pack your swimming shoes. You can take short boat trips for around €10 out to sea and to the blue grottos. Always a dream 😍🥰

A very unique church perched on the mountain. The views from the location are amazing, and the church itself is the highlight of the hike.
