great trail, from start to finish, beautiful views and chestnut forests with streams and huts. We did not encounter any tick-infested areas. Highly recommended hike for families with small children.

Point with an amazing view. Easy to reach from path 130 which can be a little slippery when it’s moist, but further no difficulties. From here to pania della croce and monte forato is marked as EE. To pania there are chains to hold on to on the difficult parts, to monte forato there are no chains, the path to forato is narrow and sometimes exposed on both sides.

Located at 558 meters above sea level, the Passo del Lucese connects Trebbio and Valpromaro. It is a short climb and not as hard as the average slope, but some steep sections - present on both sides - should not be underestimated.

Suggestive ridge that divides the side of Versilia, with sea view, from that of Garfagnana. Under the beautiful southern fold of the Pania della Croce, an isolated tree makes this corner of the Apuan Alps even more scenic.

Foce located between the Pania della Croce and Monte Forato, a beautiful view of the Costa Polita. The path to get there is exposed at times and certainly recommended for hikers with experience on rough paths.

Path of silence that opens from the chestnut trees to the scenery of the peaks. Mourning and memory. Houses of Monte Ornato, today ruins, firefight between partisans and Germans. Case Zuffone, Among the stones lying on the ground is engraved the name of Italo Evangelisti, a young man from Capriglia, who died in combat, together with three other partisans and four civilians, on 30 July 1944. The tratturo declines to the finds of the ancient silver and lead mines and then goes up towards the Argentiera, the first village of Sant'Anna raided and set on fire by the Germans who came from Capezzano. In the woods between caves, sheer rocks and ravines you reach the Martyrs' Memorial.

The Focetta di San Vincenzo is a large pass located at 912 m above sea level on the narrow coast that joins the Col di Pardini to the relief of Mount Prana and separates the Val Pedogna from the Valle del Lombricese, connecting them. The inhabited villages closest to the focetta are Metato on the Camaiore side and Convalle on the Pescara side, both reachable by well-marked CAI paths.
