In 2010, the "Altair" unit of the Frosolone 1 Scout Group created a guided route with descriptive tables of the local flora and fauna in the Grisciata forest on the Frosolone mountains. The nature trail, which consists of 38 tables distributed over approximately 900 m of path, was called the "Altair Path", in honor of the work carried out by the department. Inside the forest there is the over one hundred year old Pedalone beech tree. In summer, the fountain located at the entrance to the forest, on the left side, is active.

Pretty religious chapel, with panoramic views of Campobasso and Lower Molise, Bojano and Matese. There is an area equipped with tables. According to tradition, July 24th and in particular December 24th becomes the destination of arrival for the people of Frosolone, giving rise to the "Christmas Torchlight Procession" event.

A beautiful reserve with many paths for walking.

The Collemeluccio reserve is one of the two oriented nature reserves that are part of the "Collemeluccio-Montedimezzo Alto Molise" Biosphere Reserve, recognized by UNESCO in 1977. It is located in the province of Isernia, hosts one of the most beautiful beech woods in Italy and it can be visited with a ring itinerary that starts from the forest center.

After about 850 meters from the beginning of the path, on the left is this large rock that seems to be suspended in the air.
