The Cotentin and Bessin Marshes Regional Natural Park offers a superb diversity of landscapes shaped by water: wet meadows, coastline and dunes, heathland and hedgerows. Here, tranquility accompanies you as you cycle or take a break to observe the birds.

The nature reserve is home to the last active peatlands in the region. It serves as a refuge for a wide diversity of flowers. In particular, there are several carnivorous plants. On the wildlife side, the reserve is a sanctuary for many birds and insects.

The old guardhouse, built on Mont Doville during the Ancien Régime, served as a military camp. The building has been a listed building since 1992.

In the 8th century BC, Ligurians and Celts lived in our region. The stones were the object of worship and adoration. He was found a stone in HOUESVILLE. My passion led me to make some local elected officials aware of the importance of our heritage and this standing stone. Thus the dumping of the original stone (Ref DE GERVILLE) to a waste disposal center resulted in the erection of a semblance of stone called "the stone" (in the wrong place).
