The summit of Monte Tomba, with two small huts where you can eat. Always very windy.

To discover the riches of the Folignani Forest, you can walk in about 2 and a half hours along a path just over 8 km long that starts from the Bocca di Selva Refuge located at 1550 meters above sea level. An excursion into the heart of the Folignani Forest means immersing yourself in the wildest and most uncontaminated nature among trees such as beech, black hornbeam and spruce but also forms of life that make this corner of the Veneto a true naturalistic paradise to be explored. The Folignani Forest has been declared not only a Site of Community Interest but also a SPA, that is, an area that protects the avifauna of the hazel grouse, the black woodpecker, the boreal owl and the roe deer goshawk, which live in the area with other animals such as deer, marmots but above all the wolves that, after more than a century, have returned to inhabit this area of the Central Alps. https://www.villanichesola.it/foresta-dei-folignami-trekking/

Lessinia, or Monti Lessini, is a plateau and an Alpine supergroup located mainly in the province of Verona and partially in the provinces of Vicenza and Trento. A part of the Lessini territory constitutes the Lessinia Regional Natural Park. It borders to the north with the Val di Ronchi and the Carega Group, to the east with the Val Leogra, to the south with the Adige and the upper Veronese plain and to the west with the Val Lagarina. Its peaks reach an altitude between 1500 and 1800 m above sea level. https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lessinia

At 1,545 meters high, Corno d'Aquilino is one of the most famous peaks of the Lessini Mountains, above Verona. It borders Valpolicella to the north and its name seems to derive from the Latin "aquilus", meaning dark. On one of its slopes, it boasts one of the deepest karst abysses in the world, almost 1,000 meters.
