Great rest area with a beautiful spring!

Bilstein I found it beautiful on the Bilstein in Langenbergen. I'd like to keep an eye out for the Bilsten in the Chorengau. My thanks, dear friends. Will God? So come back often!

The word "Born" historically stands for the term "fountain". The Landgrafenborn is therefore a fountain. The Landgrafenborn is mentioned in different places in the history books. Various functions are attributed to it. According to the legend, the Landgrafenborn served as a resting place for the Landgrave's many hunts. This place was also used as a resting place during the border inspection between Gudensberg and Metze. Border inspection means walking along the district boundaries when there were no written records of this. Farmers and Greben (old term for mayor and local leader) took part in the border inspection between Gudensberg and Metze. The Landgrafenbom also served as a place for wood auctions. The legend about the Landgrafenborn: Once upon a time a Landgrave of Hesse was hunting near Gudensberg and his horse and he himself were suffering from great thirst, so the former struck the rock and behold, suddenly the so-called LANDGRAFENBORN bubbled out!
