The Krummsee measures approx. 700 × 250 m and belongs to Malente. The water quality is generally considered "very good", i.e. bathing quality.

Scenic route with very little traffic and great asphalt (partly redone in 2019). Hilly as is common here in the region. The bathing area is not here, but a little further on the north bank of the Krummsee. The water in the lake is usually of very good quality and a small forest swimming area on the lake is ideal for swimming in summer.
